What We Like About The Sole F85 Treadmill?
Quiet: If you are like us and usually watch TV or listen to your music library while running, you will definitely love the quiet operation of this machine. The low noise also makes the treadmill ideal for parents who have young children and prefer to do their exercises at night. The kids wont wake up. Treadmills are often very large and obtrusive, buyers sometimes find that they are limited as to where they can place them. The Sole F85 however does not have such limitations and, on the low setting, the machine is near silent.

Lack of Technology: If you are a geek then you wont label the Sole F85 as your newest favorite gadget. There is not much of new technology in this machine. There is no USB port for data output, no color LCD screen or fancy animations and graphics. If state-of-the-art technology is important to you and you need to have your treadmill connected to several other gadgets then this machine may not be the perfect fit for you.
However, limited technology has it advantages. First of all, the price is moderate. No need to pay for geeky stuff that you wont really need to run anyway. You pay for a quality treadmill and nothing else. Second, you don’t have to worry about your treadmill going out-of-date as technology evolves.
Speed Lag: There is some lag when adjusting the speed, more specifically when cranking the speed up or down. This is not an oversight by Sole, but rather a feature that allows the motor to have a longer lifespan. If you are someone who loves to adjust the speed continuously throughout your exercise and need it to happen very quickly, you’ll find that this treadmill won’t keep up with your demands as well as other models.
Limited Features: Just as the machine lacks in technology, it also has limited features compared to high-tech models. There are stereos built into the machine, but the speakers are not the best of quality. The fans do little in terms of actually cooling you off and instead just release a small breeze. They wont replace a separate air-condition for very hot places. There is no automated cool down feature to end your workout either, so you will have to customize your own program to meet these needs.
